CurrentDigital Literacy Teacher teaching ALL students K-8 in Digital Citizenship, typing skills, coding, and more. Using various technologies and resources to engage student learning, projects and streamline student feedback, such as Google Classroom, Google Workspace, Seesaw, Readworks. Code.org and Google Applied Digital Skills, to name a few. Established and facilitate an after-school program, Girls Who Code, for students grades 3-8, where they learn how to engage with other students socially to code programs using tools like blockly in Scratch, Code.org, and other supplemental platforms.I have Created and developed the curriculum for Locke Learner’s Academy. Facilitated Wednesday Wonders a nine-week course designed during the pandemic to assist teachers in improving their virtual classroom instruction using technology integration. Conducted various professional development at the school level to assist teachers in understanding and utilizing the School Information System (SIS), Google Classroom, Pearson Online, Google Workspace for Education, Lumio, and more. Coach teachers on the integration of technology in their classroom, providing action steps for technology integration, modeling lessons, and co-teaching lessons with teachers to ensure the use of 21st Century learning in the classroom.I am a Keystone Technology Innovator (KTI) Star 2019 and a member of Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) Susquehanna Valley and Philly where I serve as Secretary. Currently pursuing my certification for Computer Science 7-12 through support from Elizabethtown College.
