Giving technical assistance for maintenance support to on site activities and ensuring that the correct tools, components and procedures are followed.•Provide assistance and technical advice to mechanics of non technical staff.•Responsible for coordinating and planning daily maintenance and repair activities. •Dismantle faulty tools and assemblies and repair or replace defective parts. •Responsible for recording and maintaining engineering records. •Responsible of operating and monitoring all machinery and engineering equipment. This includes bench test equipment, fuel pumps calibration tool, compressors, governor system, electronic injectors testing equipment etc.•Experience of working with minimal supervision or as part of a small team in analyzing mechanical failures. •Executing Overhaul of CATERPILLAR AND CUMMINS - Engines up to 100,000 hrs of Capacity up to 2 MW.•Have executed Cylinder Head overhaul, Piston overhaul, Main Bearing Inspection, Gear Train overhaul, FIP overhaul, L.O. Pump overhaul, Water Pumps overhaul, Vibration Damper replacement, etc.
