I am the payroll supervisor/acting payroll manager for a national recruitment agency based in Somerset. We specialise in recruiting temporary and permenant staff for the construction industry.As a department we provide PAYE/CIS and PSC payrolls for up to 500 operatives a week. We work to strict deadlines to ensure operatives are paid on time; error free. We adhere to HMRC protocols, submitting weekly records via the RTI system. We now also provide operatives with an Auto Enrolment pension scheme that we submit records for, and send payments to the nominated pension provider. I introduced the new systems we need in place for the new RTI and Auto Enrolment protocols; and it is my responsibility to ensure our Payroll Administrators are trained in these processes.
