It has one characteristic that makes it of concern: its need for much higher quality brine with less than 20 ppb of calcium and magnesium combined. Therefore, the chlor-alkali industry has a huge demand for the purification of primary brine.As a pressure-driven separation technology based on normal pore size distribution, ceramic membrane filter has become a promising method and been verified in the production of nearly 30millions tons of caustic soda.Ceramic membrane filter can remove the impurities in one-step and reach high brine quality : SS<0.5mg/L , Ca2++Mg2+<0.5mg/L.Luckily, I have been engaged in ceramic membrane filter since 2004.
