I joined the company in Jan of 2016 as Product & Material Developer-Footwear, before I joined the company, I had been working for Marc Jacobs footwear for almost one year and have built up a good relationship with NY team. As a Material Developer, I can catch up design’s idea quickly and always try to get the job done under the tight time limitation. I always do my best to negotiate a better price for all the materials/hardware sourced by us and to ensure the materials can meet the development schedule and test requirement. I also coordinate with shoe venders and production team if there are any quality or delivery issues on bulk materials

A) 2012.02--2013.09 : Work as a senior sourcing specialist in Footwear division to control all phases from Design Development to production process with details as follows:1) Design presentation meeting with designers/ technician to make sure all interpretation is achieved 2) Material sourcing between China local market and Italy , advising best design & technical interpretation through all suppliers achieved 3) Design sheets spec-in with factories & building first range of prototypes 4) Communication with NY office and factories to make sure all the process is on schedule5) Pricing negotiating between factories and suppliers to offer best quality and price support6) Responsibility of all phases to ensure samples and production to be delivered on scheduleB) 2013.09--2015.01: Work in Hand bag division to handle the production schedule, my daily responsibility is to coordinate with venders, suppliers & NY team to ensure all the phased are under control and to resort to NY if there is any potential delivery/quality issues in China side. I also need to arrange QC' inspection schedule property and to coordinate with Logistic division until good shipped out

Worked as a footwear supervisor at Product Development department with duties as follows:1) Worked closely with designer on specs, materials, aesthetic and construction, worked with technician on paper pattern , lasts and fitting comments corrections to make sure the corrections are achieved on next round of samples.2) Supervise factory and sample room on materials/trims tracking and correction process to ensure protos and sales samples are presented correctly and timely.3) Coordinate with costing team by providing correct samples and calendar on time to ensure costing the shoes accurately and timely.4) Work with material department for any new material development.5) Work with production department for material swatch booking.
