Worked with Technical Safety and Reliability within different sectors and application areas the entire career. Completed a PhD on Well Safety in 2006. The title of the thesis was "Well Safety – Risk control in the operational phase of offshore wells" Since 2006 Product Manager responsible for SW development of the WellMaster Integrity Management System. Worked as Well Integrity Advisor for AkerBP. Now COO in ExproSoftThe career started with Safety of Machinery (CE, Risk Assessment, Guidelines, SW Development, Training), the work focus the evolved into Safety Instrumented Systems (Risk Assessment, Reliability Data, Qualification, SIL allocation, Test Interval Optimisation, Guideline Development, before a Ph. D was started at NTNU, and completed in 2006. This was also the starting point for the development of the well integrity software and work described above. In parallel Kjell has continued as Sensor and External Examiner at NTNU RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety).
