Corporate Engineer responsible for creating and validating integration between Extreme Networks suite of software solutions and 3rd-party applications.

Leading force in the development of and evangelist for security solutions at Enterasys Networks focusing on Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Network Behavioral Analysis (NBAD) and Network Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS). Responsible for driving the development of the SIEM solution to a point where it consisted of upwards of 50% of.

Provided investigative research of network security issues in order to release enterprise-wide advisories and other documents, including best practices, response and recovery steps, and security updates.Designed, configured and documented Secure Networks solutions used in practical demonstrations for large corporate customers.

Tested and validated functionality and performance of XSR Remote Office/Branch Office routers with focus on VPN, NAT, firewall, IDS/IPS, PKI and AAA functionalities. Conceived developed and staged an XSR practical use training class for Enterasys partners and customers. Training consisted of practical networking applications including WAN connectivity.

Tested system level interoperability and IEEE compliance of Cabletron's suite of layer 3 LAN and WAN equipment. Responsible for the design and configuration of router test bed, designed to functionally test the capabilities of Cabletron routers as well as interoperability with competing vendor's equipment. Involved in industry technical magazine testing.

Provided support to customers and internal personnel regarding configuration, troubleshooting and diagnostic analysis of Cabletron and OEM WAN / Remote Access products. Constructed Frame Relay and Remote Access test beds to aid GTAC personnel with the recreation and troubleshooting of customer issues.

Responsible for writing, editing and producing responses to RFP and RFI documents received from potential customer as part of large scale bidding processes. Provided proposals of networking solutions for corporate Local and Wide Area Networks utilizing my understanding of LAN and WAN technologies. Interfaced with customers and sales staff to provide design.
