In this role I contribute strategic and technical leadership for Lirata's portfolio of consultancy work in the areas of monitoring and evaluation, evaluation capacity building, impact measurement and research. Our purpose is to advance social justice by strengthening the enablers and reducing the barriers to positive social change.In this role my work focused primarily on the independent evaluation of not-for-profit organisations' programs and projects, and working with NFPs to build their internal capacity for effective monitoring, evaluation and learning.I led a number of projects and partnerships including: - Evaluation of two workforce development programs, and Theory of Change development with Domestic Violence Victoria/Domestic Violence Resource Centre Victoria - Evaluation of the Daily Support Team with Launch Housing and the City of Melbourne - Evaluation design and capacity building work with Council to Homeless Persons, Melbourne City Mission, Lort Smith, and the Centre for Resilient & Inclusive Societies (chaired by Deakin University) - Development and co-delivery of training programs on Program Logic & Theory of Change, and Monitoring & Evaluation Frameworks.

The Victorian NDIS Sector Development Project was a large-scale 3-year project which supported disability service providers across Victoria to prepare for and transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).As Project Manager I was responsible for all aspects of project management including stakeholder engagement; project planning and design; administrative, contractual, financial and risk management; monitoring and reporting; and project evaluation.

Leading the development and pilot delivery of HelpOUT, a new spontaneous emergency volunteering service and portal for Victoria.This service links every day Victorians with volunteering opportunities hosted by organisations working disaster-affected communities.Building on Volunteering Queensland's highly successful Emergency Volunteering CREW system, this new Victorian service is being piloted in the Geelong and surrounding region during 2016.www.volunteeringvictoria.org.au/helpout

This role focused on supporting non-profit and community organisations to access free expert assistance through NAB's skilled corporate volunteers. I provided a high-touch service to organisations, which included raising awareness of the opportunities, identifying suitable projects, providing practical assistance to scope projects, and liaising with NAB to match the right employee volunteer to the job.

A part-time role primarily focused on developing corporate partnerships to support Independence Australia's work with people living with a disability. Highlights included establishing new workplace giving and corporate volunteering programs.

Managed and grew the Foundation’s $2.5m+ Community & People Development portfolio, with responsibility for four major program streams and numerous grant rounds each year. As well as program and project management, this role involved diverse stakeholder engagement and the ongoing development of new strategic partnerships and projects.A key highlight was leading the development and pilot of a new model of philanthropic investment in rural community strengthening - two projects in partnership with grassroots community groups, local government, key regional industry bodies, and university researchers. Included development of a community strengthening toolkit in partnership with Our Community. (See links below.)Another highlight was re-scoping and implementing the Foundation's Tertiary Scholarships Program. This Program supports emerging rural leaders to overcome barriers to tertiary education, and unlock their potential to be change-makers in rural communities in the future. The re-designed Scholarships Program proved popular, with major growth in high-calibre applicants over just two years.

Responsible for project management, funding submissions, policy development, membership and industry communications.Highlights include leading the development of a new 3-year strategy (temporary Acting Manager role), designing and managing a young farmer study tour to New Zealand, delivering a Share Farming Toolkit with contractual templates, and achieving a 66% success rate with funding applications.

Co-managed the team responsible for producing print information in a range of accessible formats for people with a vision impairment or print disability. Formats include Braille, Large Print, Electronic Text (including XML-based digital formats) and Synthetic Voice Audio.Major achievements include leading the diverse team of 18 staff and more than 100 volunteers through a period of significant technological and cultural change, and managing the development and implementation of a fully accessible synthetic voice audio production model for the department.I was also the Executive Secretary of the Australian Braille Authority in 2009.

Responsible for the transcription of printed materials into alternative formats for people with a vision impairment or print disability – formats include Braille, Large Print, Electronic Text, DAISY (an XML-based digital format), and tactual graphics.I was also an ISO-9001 certified internal quality auditor for the Production Department.

Supporting the CEO and Executive team during the merge of two organisations and associated relocation of approximately 90 staff across two sites. Key responsibilities include planning, scheduling, implementing and communicating the building fit-out and relocation project.
