Information Technology Support Engineer
Current• Respond to client IT support requests promptly and professionally.• Travel to various Worley Parsons and Air Canada sites to provide on-site network administration and technical support.• Identify and troubleshoot complex problems, offering tailored solutions that align with the client's needs.• Configure computers for new employees at Worley Parsons using MS Authenticator for enhanced security.• Perform imaging of standard, mid-2d, and heavy-duty laptops for consistent deployment.• Collaborate in the installation of an additional SWWAN router at the Worley Chevron site in Richmond, CA, enhancing network infrastructure.• Assist in change window remote calls, coordinating with Worley network engineers and Project Managers in India.• Successfully complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT) tasks both pre-change and post-change.• Set up network hardware and desktops for Worley's new site in Monrovia, CA, ensuring seamless operations.• Configure hardware inventory, cables, and establish connections for remote access.• Handle PS NEMA 5-20P wall/input connections, switches, and Wireless Access Points (WAPs).• Manage the relocation of network equipment to optimize efficiency.• Expertly install patch cables in the IDF (Intermediate Distribution Frame) and patch panels for switchers.• Conduct a thorough stockroom audit at Worley's Pleasant Hill, CA site, in response to a request from the Hardware Asset Management team.• Proficiently navigated and utilized the Service Now Ticketing System to streamline issue tracking, resolution, and reporting processes, ensuring efficient workflow management and timely problem resolution.
