I manage blood drive accounts-it is a relationship management position. I work with volunteer blood drive coordinators at churches, schools, places of business, and community organizations. I also help recruit blood donors to give blood for these accounts and our 7 local donor centers. I have a territory in Kansas that covers West Lenexa to Lawrence and Gardner to Burlington and Iola, KS.Community Blood Center (CBC) is the Greater KC blood bank. We serve over 95% of the local hospitals in the greater KC and outer-;lying counties. CBC needs to collect 600 pints a day to serve these hospitals.
