Worked with Dr. Wu Horng Jyh from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information to perform time-series analysis of networks through traditional and social media represented by their websites as nodes and using the vector auto-regression method to allow for k time series variables to be predicted based on current and historical values of these variables. Studied centrality of nodes and tested data based on hypotheses of effects of real-world events on nodes using statistical analysis. Used the model to predict trends in public sentiments during the 2011 Singapore General Elections.
