Engineer on TraceView, an application performance monitoring tool.• Worked on a business-critical new feature, which involved efficiently querying large amounts of data and creating an interactive graph visualization in D3.• Developed a Node app and public API to create a unified user and organization management service between two products.• Rapidly prototyped and iterated on a complex data visualization, working closely with design and product stakeholders.• Methodically worked to reduce latency in several key places within the application to make certain features usable and accessible for our largest customers.• Mitigated tech debt by rewriting parts of the front-end in React/Redux.• Established a formal onboarding process for new engineering hires.

• Assisted with the management of a distributed development team and helped oversee product development through daily scrums and bi­-weekly sprint planning sessions.• Helped oversee Scholastic Learning Zone platform enhancements through quarterly release cycles and the development and launch of the Scholastic Literacy Pro, Scholastic Reading Inventory, and Literacy Pro Library apps.• Created and maintained all support documentation and marketing and editorial materials. Helped train and support an international team of 50 sales reps and marketers and 15 customer service reps.• Designed a suite of quantitative reports of student data to help teachers monitor student reading progress.

• Worked on a two-person team on quantitative and qualitative research initiatives to guide business strategy and product development.• Managed quantitative bi-weekly and monthly tracking online surveys and online communities of 400 teachers and 300 parents; ran 4-6 survey and discussion activities each week and reported on qualitative findings.• Wrote weekly reports on satisfaction and pain points with ordering website. Worked with website project manager, UX, and merchandisers to identify and fix bugs on site.• Helped develop and execute a research plan for the launch of the Storia e-reading app: claims testing, usability testing, features and benefits study, focus groups, and quantitative tracking studies.
