I managed business operations at an OFSTED Outstanding Nursery, oversaw the implementation of the current organisational software platform, managed revenue/invoice practices and the government funding process, supported staff management, managed client relations and external communications, initiated and managed social media platforms/website and PR efforts, as well as participated in curriculum planning. I developed and lead the nursery’s outdoor education programme (Forest School), established in 2016.

After serving one year as a local events coordinator, I was promoted into a role to manage projects from inception through evaluation for a not-for-profit association > 20K members in over 100 countries, aimed at advancing scientific research, education and policy. In this role, I managed an event coordination team, budgets, onsite logistics and vendor contracts, sponsor relations, speaker logistics, and overall communications, as well as worked across internal departments to coordinate marketing and public relations, design and production of conference materials and onsite media, for events ranging between 25 to 300 attendees. I also freelanced as a grant writer for the Physical Sciences Program, securing multiple individual grants over £20K each.

During my time at the Corporate Executive Board, I was promoted to lead a team of analysts in achieving performance levels recognized firm-wide and to support the Managing Director of Financial Services. In this role, I managed the national office for a not-for-profit organisation established to provide a nationwide network of programs dedicated to physical and emotional well-being of adolescents. I also acted as liaison between leadership and staff, supporting both the President/Founder and COO and assisted across departments as necessary. In addition to these responsibilities, I had the opportunity to work closely with the Development Department in the coordination of donor events.

I was recruited out of university for the Select Advantage Leadership Programme and received corporate training to include communications, client relations, career management and leadership development. Whilst working within the Marketing Services and Support Group, I designed and implemented reporting system for industry products, team progress, and mutual fund statistics, as well as managed domestic and offshore mutual funds, from set-up to launch. I was awarded the Merrill Lynch Team Player Award in 2000.

During my last two years of University, I managed the office for a boutique firm providing disability/life insurance and financial planning services for professional athletic teams and individual athletes, as well as American Veterinary Medicine Association members.
