As a member of the flight control team, I developed, modified, and unit tested Simulink models of sensors, actuators, and environmental disturbances to improve the multirotor simulation. After an anomalous flight test, I analyzed the flight test data to determine the cause of aircraft failure and whether corrective actions needed to be taken. In order to improve the robustness of the multirotor aircraft, I researched, prototyped, and tested a control allocation strategy for motor failure recovery.

During my last year at Lockheed Martin, I redesigned the A2100 satellite attitude control system (ACS) simulation with a small team, saving $1M in end-to-end flight software development costs.Before that, I implemented and tested next-generation GPS III satellite ACS algorithms in C++ based on legacy FORTRAN code.As part of the GPS III effort, I prepared 10,000 lines of ACS flight software C++ code for peer review and developed rigorous unit and integration tests to verify requirements and functionality.I also worked with domain experts to design, implement, and test the Math Exception Handling logic for GPS III ACS flight software.In addition to my technical duties, I have led the Lockheed Martin Entry-Level Professionals group at the Newtown site for two years. This involves coordinating with a leadership committee to organize various community service, professional development, and social events aimed at easing the transition from academia to industry.
