Managing 12,000+ piece art aspect for a Standardized testing program. Assign and oversee the work of 3 internal freelance illustrators and 4 outside vendors. Manage schedules and tracking logs. Also designed and managed a series of 32 covers for two related testing programs.

Responsibilities include direction, design and project management of a wide range of materials, primarily in the educational publishing industry. Also work extensively in company’s catalog practice. Managed the work of a staff of designers and production artists, and worked closely with editorial, prepress staff, and art and photo buyers. Work directly with Director of Creative Services to develop bids in response to customer RFQs, and to best position creative assets. Position requires daily client contact.

Began freelance for InGEAR, and was subsequently hired permanent. Promoted to Senior Graphic Designer in October 2003. InGEAR is a manufacturer of luggage, backpacks, sport bags and coolers. Responsible for design of packaging, product, POP and collateral materials. Scheduled and oversaw the work of three designers. Also contracted with freelance talent and photographers.

Responsibilities included direction and design of projects for a wide range of clients, from manufacturing corporations to national associations. Projects ranged from catalogs, direct mail, and marketing programs, to advertisements and monthly publications. In addition, conducted day-to-day management of the firm, overseeing staff and providing account management, requiring extensive client contact. Responsible for contracting of printing, photographers, and freelancers, with daily vendor contact. Handled press checks and directed photo shoots.

Sr. Designer in the Marketing Resources Group. Duties included design and direction of marketing pieces, brochures and newsletters, as well as creation of proposals and presentations for clients in a wide variety of industries.
