PastVu.com – A Social Network and Archival Platform for Historical PhotosA side project that evolved into a thriving platform with over 150,000 registered users, PastVu.com is a unique social network where users can collaborate around millions of historical photographs, sharing and discovering historical moments. I led the architecture and development of this full-stack, real-time platform, building it with a microservices architecture on Node.js and MongoDB, featuring a rich single-page application with real-time updates powered by WebSockets.To analyze user behavior in real time, I implemented a MongoDB aggregation and map-reduce framework, enabling dynamic insights into platform activity and engagement.

Led my team in building the Oorraa.com platform from the ground up, creating a robust and scalable solution for a wholesale B2B marketplace. We designed an isomorphic application architecture that seamlessly integrated server-side rendering, internationalization, and logging. The platform dynamically scaled with an unlimited number of Node.js processes based on incoming load and functioned as a single-page application (SPA) with real-time updates through WebSockets.We developed a complex build system, allowing for efficient, maintainable code that supports continuous development. Additionally, we created a public API to support mobile clients, making the platform a comprehensive solution for wholesale B2B interactions across the web and mobile.

Choister.ru – Next-Generation Real Estate Search EngineI contributed to the architectural transformation of Choister.ru by separating its original Java (Jetty) codebase into distinct Java API and Node.js UI layers. This refactoring allowed us to encapsulate key business logic within RESTful APIs, making the platform more modular and scalable. Using Node.js, I developed a backend UI layer that pre-generates templates populated with data, optimizing the performance of the single-page application (SPA) in the browser.This project showcased the power of a layered architecture, improving maintainability and responsiveness while enhancing the user experience in a high-demand real estate platform.

Mail.ru Video Platform – Front-End Team Lead.As the front-end team leader for Mail.ru’s video single-page application, I led the integration of the platform with the company’s RESTful API, enabling seamless management of user-related videos, personalized recommendations, and dynamic rating systems. Our work focused on building a responsive and engaging user experience while incorporating features that adapt to user preferences and activity.

CCTV Platform – I led the architecture and development of a web-based application to monitor and manage 110,000+ urban cameras over the internet. The platform featured cartographic integration and rich UI widgets such as video walls, camera search, and playback, utilizing Knockout, jQuery, and Leaflet for a seamless user experience.IPTV Static Server – Developed an IPTV server with Node.js and MongoDB, designed to collect, analyze, and visualize data through capped collections and map-reduce, with HighCharts for data visualization. This server enabled efficient data processing for real-time IPTV monitoring and analytics.iVision IPTV – Main developer for the "iVision IPTV" project, responsible for the application’s UI that interfaces with digital television equipment (used by Megafon, Kazakhtelecom, and others). I built and automated testing with Google Closure, used Maven for builds, and Jenkins for continuous deployment, ensuring a robust and reliable digital television interface.

Electronic Platform for Procurement - I created a browser-based client application integrated into the SAP Enterprise Portal, connected with various SAP R/3 modules. This platform facilitated competitive procurement processes, enabling seamless interaction and integration across the company’s SAP environment.I also developed mathematics-based voting algorithms to ensure objective winner selection for procurement participants, adding a unique layer of transparency and fairness to the decision-making process.

Led the integration of SAP Flexible Real Estate and SAP Enterprise Portal with Google Maps to develop a comprehensive software solution for strategic property management. This internet-based platform enabled centralized oversight and decision-making for the organization’s distributed assets, combining SAP’s real estate data with real-time geospatial insights from Google Maps.
