Implemented a ”Mock Quote Service” using Java for the backend of Homesite’s Quote API alongside a senior engineer to reduce downtime experienced by the Sales API team. Collected requirements, outlined a schema, and designed a Redis database with multiple tables allowing for CRUD operations on mock quotes. Performed manual testing using Postman to verify the correct and timely functionality of the mock quote database as well as other Quote API features. Worked in an Agile scrum environment with biweekly sprints, performance reviews, and team retrospectives.

Answered email requests and questions from prospective and admitted students regarding recruitment events, registration, and programming. Assisted in the preparation and setup of multiple university events including ”Buckeye Bound” which typically saw over 1,000 students in attendance. Managed student and family member event registration, attendance, and knowledge through Salesforce.
