Oracle Policy Automation Lead
As the Oracle Policy Automation (OPA) lead, I have responsibility for developing and implementing OPA rulebases, which provide tailored rates of pay and eligibility for 122 Modern Awards. I oversee a team of rule authors across various locations, and provide support and mentoring to ensure a consistent approach to the completion of rulebases. Key Responsibilities: • Design, build and test the system to generate pay rates for every award, including document generation and timesheet calculation.• Build and maintain BI Publisher templates to automatically generate pay rate guides for each Modern Award.• Liaise with business and technology stakeholders to ensure that the solution is deliverable and meets business requirements.• Identify and assess risks in order to provide possible solutions to senior management.• Oversee the development of individual award rulebases to ensure accuracy and consistency.• Provide specialist assistance with difficult award interpretations or rulebase implementations.• Maintain and deploy the universal inclusion rules to ensure that solution can be universally applied across all Modern Awards.• Develop documentation and deliver training to staff, as well as provide ongoing mentoring.• Review and implement legislative changes into completed rulebases.
