Mr. Lowry began working at reVision, Inc. as part of the core group of employees starting the DC office. Hiring the engineering team, providing guidance on technical issues, participating in policy decisions, part of the proposal team and providing key content to many of reVision’s successful bids were his key contributions. He was the lead architect/technical lead for reVision’s Managed Storage Services Service Product Offering for the US Army Information Technology Agency, Datacenter Directorate (ITA-DC) onsite team. The MSS SPO covered the Enterprise Fibre Channel Architecture, Enterprise Storage (IBM and EMC), and the Enterprise Backup Service (IBM and COPAN) for the Pentagon. Mr. Lowry was instrumental in developing the core direction of these services in support of the overall Pentagon tenant community

Mr. Lowry began working at General Dynamics as part of the Advanced Systems Engineering team with the purpose of researching new technologies and creating solutions for clients. He contributed his experience with seat management contracts and application/server systems design to the team. Mr. Lowry also served as the Network Design team manager for the Pentagon Renovation contract responsible for meeting tenant network design requirements relating to the tasks, goals and timelines of the Pentagon Renovation Program. As design team manager, Mr. Lowry acted as the lead design engineer and was required to manage the workload to meet tenant move in dates defined by the program.

Mr. Lowry was the manager of the Systems Engineering group and lead Technical Engineer for the Departmental Offices of the US Department of the Treasury. His responsibilities included but were not limited to managing project guidelines and engineering goals, writing proposals, evaluating new technologies, and implementing new technologies. The main technologies included Windows NT/2000/2003 and Exchange 5.5/2000/2003. In addition his team managed all engineering and tier 3 support for MS Windows based servers and applications. Projects included Active Directory migration, Exchange 2003 migration, Netware Migration, Email Archiving, and SAN design and implementation.

As a Senior Consultant and a member of the Windows 2000 Tiger team, Mr. Lowry was responsible for rapid deployment and early adoption of Windows 2000, Active Directory, and Exchange 2000. His responsibilities also included distributing knowledge to the rest of the company and training other consultants in new technology. He spent the majority of his time traveling and working for many large and small corporations.
