In my role as a public health dental hygiene practitioner at the University of Pennsylvania's Personalized Care Suite for Persons with Disabilities, I am entrusted with guiding and educating our students to provide top-notch oral health care to a diverse and often underserved population. With an extensive background spanning 18 years in dentistry, sales, marketing, networking, and public speaking, I craft personalized educational experiences that are meticulously tailored to cater to the unique requirements of each individual.Moreover, I actively contribute to the conceptualization and execution of cutting-edge telehealth initiatives aimed at enhancing accessibility and improving outcomes for patients living with disabilities. My collaboration extends to a dynamic multidisciplinary team comprising dental and medical professionals, researchers, coordinators and educators. Together, we have created a comprehensive program of designing, testing, evaluating and exacuting telehealth interventions resulting in the most effective practices.My ultimate aim is to facilitate improved access to care and share valuable insights with dental professionals concerning the unique requirements of patients with disabilities. By doing so, I hope to enhance the overall quality of oral health care provided to this underserved population, fostering a more inclusive and equitable dental practice landscape.
