I developed the brand identity and art direction for the 2019 Think-A-Thon - a Think Creative event which is a 26.2 hour working marathon dedicated to providing pro-bono branding, marketing, and advertising services to an Orlando based nonprofit. In the weeks leading up to Think-A-Thon, I designed a variety of print and digital graphic design elements for branding, outreach, and communications materials.

Assisted professor with various projects pertaining to sexual harassment in the work environment, workplace romances, organizational citizenship behaviors, and counterproductive work behaviors. My duties varied and included, conducting literature reviews, constructing the design, methodological and procedural aspects of research projects, collecting and analyzing survey data, performing administrative tasks, and working collaboratively with colleagues and faculty. I was also responsible for mentoring several undergraduate students in their pursuance of research.

During my internship at RTKL, I was responsible for conducting numerous group and individual interviews to update job descriptions for Firmwide services.I contributed to the transfer of files into a new HRIS system. I contributed to the new Fit & Wellness program, in which I met with consultants, assessed the current integration and future path of the program, and provided content for the website. I've conducted various audits, assessed the current RTKL travel program, created a mentoring evaluation survey, evaluated performance appraisal / management system. I participated in the Mentoring Program. I performed administrative tasks, such as processing employee stipend payments, beneficiary forms, and payroll employee data. I assembled new hire toolkits and participated in employee onboarding, abided by legal compliance and employment law. I have also gained experience in the following programs: Ultimate/Ultipro software, Deltek Vision, Halogen, E-Verify, Microsoft Excel & Outlook, Survey Monkey, and Qualtrics.Working at RTKL has opened my eyes to HR and beyond. Gaining general understanding of Architecture/Engineer/Construction functioning helped me gain insight into the projects I worked on, and on overarching business practices. The interpersonal aspect of HR and office managing captivates me most, and makes everything worthwhile. The HR team was motivating and encouraged me to continue on my path of curiosity. It was a personally enriching summer for me.

I served as a confederate in a study examining the impact of humor on simulation training and task performance. I was responsible for abiding by a humorous and non-humorous script while working closely with an undergraduate participant on a stressful simulation task.

Tallahassee, Florida Area

This particular study examined psychological and biological factors associated with binge-eating behaviors and purging disorder. My responsibilities included: conducting preliminary phone screenings, recruiting potential participants in the Tallahassee area, running 2-4 hour study visits, collaborating with the onsite nurse and fellow lab members, handling blood work, administering surveys, entering data, and performing administrative tasks.
