Approach to DesignKeith approaches his work from a nature-based perspective, bringing over thirty years of experience as a licensed Landscape Architect. Through this experience, he learned how to incorporate art and geologic movement into his design. He developed a service oriented working style that compliments any culture or client type.Keith leads teams and facilities through a design process that is both creative and results oriented. His approach and style allows diverse and complex design and client teams to become a cohesive and creative force that can achieve anything. As a Lead Designer, his organizational skills and compassion for the animals, the visitors and the staff has produced environments that function on all levels, and define a unique relationship to the environment. From initial vision and design to the on-going mentoring and direction of staff, Keith is the guiding force within teams of architects, landscape architects, animators, exhibit designers and interpretive planners.As an art director, his critical eye is key to creation and execution of drawings and working on site with contractors and artists. His keen sense of the whole experience combined with a focus on details and execution has resulted in critically acclaimed and award-winning projects in the United States and overseas. Continually striving to find new ways to achieve great design, and communicate unique and complex ideas, Keith has helped incorporate the process of 3D animation into the design process.
