I've spent the past 25 years making digital products and services better through the power of digital strategy and user experience design.As a Partner in Autogram, I focus on the intersection of content services platforms and design systems, and develop digital strategies and governance models to make them work at scale.Previously, as Managing Partner at Bond Art + Science, I worked with publishers, startups, financial services firms, and healthcare companies to help them think through their web strategies and create interaction designs.Prior to starting Bond, I helped build the User Experience practice at Razorfish. When I joined as an Information Architect, I was the first person hired with a background in usability and HCI. When I left nearly 10 years later, I was the VP and National Lead for UX. I led projects for dozens of clients, overseeing major redesign initiatives for The New York Times, Condé Nast, Disney, and Citibank.I've also been on the faculty of the MFA in Interaction Design program at SVA in New York for more than ten years. I teach Design Management, which aims to give students the skills they need to run successful projects, teams, and businesses.My second book, Going Responsive, was published in 2015. Based on interviews with dozens of companies, it explains how to plan and launch a successful responsive redesign. My first book, Content Strategy for Mobile, was published in 2012.
