I discovered my passion for graphic design and marketing communications by playing the trombone.When I started my undergraduate career, I wanted to be the one on stage. I quickly discovered, however, that while music performance will always be an important part of my life, what was most exciting to me was what went on behind the stage - the people and organizations that made the performing arts possible.This discovery lead me to a community arts studio and gallery in Juneau, AK; coming back to the East Coast to work at the Cambridge School of Weston; falling in love with and helping promote lindy hop to the Greater Boston community; and most recently working for the Harvard Law School Alumni Center.By following my passion for enabling the work of nonprofits through innovative designs and compelling communications, today I am graphic designer with 10+ years experience conceptualizing, developing, and executing digital and print marketing materials (who still plays the trombone on the weekends).
