As a full-time employee at Red Cedar Solutions Group (RCSG), Katie was placed onto a small team and was to support existing web applications. Just after a few months, Katie and her team were developing new web applications for RCSG’s client – Michigan Department of Education. Just to name a few, Katie became familiar with test-driven development, design patterns, and framework design guidelines. As a full-time employee at Fuse Communication, Katie was part of a small interactive systems team whose goal was to support Fuse’s clients through interactive technologies. Katie’s responsibilities included VB.Net development for new and existing websites, debugging, code enhancements, data capture, web analytics/reporting, and creating and deploying html emails. Some of Katie’s accomplishments include: • Developed a stable internal content management system for event registrants• Developed great interaction skills between the interactive systems team and the clients• Became very familiar with Visual Studio 2005, Sql Server Management 2008, and ActionScript2.0/3.0• Responsible for starting Fuse’s first soccer and softball team• Worked closely with Designers, Copywriters, Project Managers
