Also a gifted novelist, having just launched his new Sci-Fi adventure book, "Tales of the Elite: Tarantino" - He has now embarked on the writing of the next project; while continuing his acting and script work when his time allows.This retired 17 year Military Officer, has skills in all areas of uniformed activity make him suitable for any uniformed acting roles. A sailor, airman, fire-fighter and combatant; he is also sturdy ambassador in both recruitment and HR roles. A long time reporter for dFM Magazine (2005-11) saw Darren awarded a Government Commendation for Journalism in 2011. His contributions to commercial media is extensive and his regular contributions to Man Space, CRUZIN & Gasoline are still eagerly awaited. WRT to his comic book endeavours; the new Graphic Novels for 'IGNITION-8' and 'Elite' have also been well recieved both in Australia and abroad, resulting in Darren being inducted as a full member of The Australian Cartoonist Association. The 2020 launch of the new cartoon strip "The Family Tree" (written & illustrated by Darren) will see both Darren and KIT COMICS enjoy new readership around tge world.While also dabbling at song writing and script writing (with success in both areas) He has shifted his attention to furthering his active involvement in entertainment having enjoyed his modeling/acting experiences to date.He is presently happy sitting atop the K.I.T food chain yet is always open to discussions should new opportunities present themselves.
