• Analyzing Macroinvertebrate data and condensing 12 years of data to create a master macroinvertebrate database to track changes in the species classifications. • Collecting water quality measures such as pH, dissolved oxygen, Calcium, Phosphates, and Magnesium levels and eDNA samples for about 12 different springs in the Sonoran Desert. • Contributed to fieldwork efforts to monitor vegetation in the Sonoran Desert by going to 10 different National parks within the desert and helping collect soil crust and vegetation presence data for 8 different plots at each park.

● Participated in fieldwork to capture, identify, and tag approximately 200 male and female Wool Carder bees (Anthidium manicatum) on Gonzaga’s Campus. ● Consulted fellow students in the lab to develop a procedure for a mark-recapture study of A. manicatum.● Created approximately 200 encounter histories using excel to determine the population size estimates and survival rates using the POPAN model in the program MARK.

● Assisted approximately 5-20 customers a day including students with any technology related dilemmas by giving them instructions on how to complete basic troubleshooting steps. ● Aided alumni, students, and parents by taking calls related to password resets and account information whilst using databases to evaluate the state of their accounts.

● Assisted in developing a protocol for extraction and isolation of Corticosterone from Painted turtle (Chrysemys picta) claw samples. ● Collaborated with Dr. Elizabeth Addis and other research students to learn about the relevant molecular biology and ecology related to the nesting patterns of C. Picta.● Conducted the project to determine the growth rate of individuals in a population of Painted turtles using Von Bertanffy’s equation in excel
