My role in consumer engagement and social media has been centered around communication with customers and collaborators on our various social media channels. This has been essential for brand awareness, customer experience & education, and networking. Collaborating with agencies to provide quality content across channels is another facet of this position.

As the marketing coordinator, I have been responsible for all email communication efforts to consumers, retailers, and distributors. Other responsibilities of mine were editing blog posts, updating certain elements of the business website, and engaging in or leading efforts supporting the sales team.

As the marketing intern, I spent a significant amount of time tending to social media efforts. This included scouting for and selecting influencers, maintaining communication with influencers, and interacting with users. Another leading responsibility was shipping marketing materials to retailers on behalf of the sales team. My internship equipped me with an extensive skillset which prepared me to excel as a full time employee.

My job as a receptionist consisted of making reservations, assisting customers and the kennel attendants when necessary, performing basic grooming skills, and processing customer payments. As a dog trainer, I taught group classes, created and maintained client relationships, and helped clients problem-solve through behavioral problems with their pets.

In terms of dog care, I was responsible for administering medications, maintaining feeding regimens, monitoring canine interactions, and performing grooming functions. My responsibilities in reception included processing customer payment, creating reservations for various services, gathering new customer information, and collaborating with veterinary clinics regarding patient vaccine history.
