My primary responsibilities included overseeing the commercial and financial portfolios. Additionally, I focused on facilities management, process optimization, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Nieuwestroom is a leading energy provider in the Netherlands. In my role, I was responsible for optimizing the finance department, focusing on workflow processes, efficiency, software performance, and reporting. In collaboration with the CFO, I selected a new ERP system that aligned with the needs and requirements of Nieuwestroom.

Sutherland Design specializes in developing total concepts for hotels. I was tasked with professionalizing the internal organization. Redesign of work processes (especially for the purchasing, planning and finance departments) led to optimization of the work processes and more efficiency. Also co-executive within the financial department (reports, financial administration).

These organizations operate online gambling platforms in Belgium. I had to develop and implement a business plan aimed at improving results and growing the online business. This resulted, among other things, in a cost reduction, turnover increase and higher customer satisfaction.

Baat is an accounting and consulting organization. My assignment was to develop a business plan for the integration of online accounting services.

AcconAVM (now Flynth Accountants & Advisors) is a prominent accounting and consulting firm. As interim director, I directed the growth and reorganization of the ‘online accounting’ business unit. Upon evaluating the existing service, it became clear that it did not align with customer needs, largely due to inadequate automation. I developed and executed a comprehensive business plan for a new online accounting service, which significantly enhanced customer satisfaction and transformed the business unit into a profitable entity.

Fysio Zuyd is a physiotherapy practice with over 20 locations in Limburg. My mandate involved restructuring the financial administration and digital workflow from patient registration to the closure of digital patient records. This reorganization led to increased efficiency, improved cash flows, and better insights into patient data.Before, during and after my project at Physio Zuyd, I was a sparring partner in a merger process that was successfully implemented in 2015.

JuroFoon was a leading provider of front-line legal services, which my business partner and I successfully sold to ARAG Legal Aid in 2014 after 16 years. As co-founder and co-owner, I managed the company alongside my business partner. My primary responsibilities included strategy development, marketing and communication, finance, facilities management, and partnerships. Under our leadership, JuroFoon grew into one of the largest legal service providers in the Netherlands, handling approximately 120,000 legal inquiries annually at a national level.

Reorganisatie & upscaling the business.Following a successful internship at the European Aviation Agency, I was hired to reorganize and expand the business, focusing on commercial pilot training and business aircraft rental. The initiatives I implemented contributed to the company’s growth, establishing it as one of the largest private flight training organizations in the Netherlands at that time

I started this business during my studies and was a sole proprietorship engaged in nationwide sales of water and air filtration systems for both the residential and business markets. It also sold personal security systems. Despite an excellent return on investment, I dissolved this business as it was no longer compatible with my studies.
