The department responsible for overall performance of all new devices launched by Pelephone. Each device is tested by the system engineer both in RF lab and in the field, finding and delivering characterized problems to handsets manufacturers. In addition, we manage the specifications, development and implementation of all engineering parameters in Pelephone USIM profiles.In my position, I applied project management fundamentals to achieve objectives set to my engineering department by leading RF Protocol testing tools, developing new testing methods, controlling schedule and improving automation scripts. I use interpersonal skills combined with management methods to encourage leadership and motivation of each team member.

Responsible for certification procedure and RF performance of new handsets, both in CDMA and UMTS/HSPA technologies, investigating abnormal RAN protocol and GPS operation behavior. I integrated and managed Tektronix K18 solution for monitoring UMTS air interface, and investigating handsets abnormal protocol behaviour.In addition, I defined engineering requirements for UMTS handsets manufacturers working with Pelephone. I selected twice as a best employee in 2006 and 2008.

Implementing type approval methodology from scratch, and managing certification process among 5 teams. Schedule updates done using MS-Project on a daily basis, were used as a key factor providing best efficiency of limited resources. All the tests and defects I managed using Quality Center tool, providing an accurate problem characterization to handset manufacturer.
