Regional Financial controller, responsible for 3 Greek entities and 6 entities in EMEA region. Responsible for control and review local GAAP and management accounting to mother entity under USGAAP reporting accounts.Velti is a public traded company (NASDAQ: VELT) as well as the biggest provider of mobile marketing and advertising technology and solutions. I was in charge of the Financial Reporting and accounting for the region of Europe, Middle East and Africa leading the accounting, reporting and month-end close for Russia, Ukraine, Greece, CY, Bulgaria, Turkey, Italy and Dubai. At that time, the company was in a Pre-IPO process and I was assigned to work closely with US and local auditors. My duties included: preparation of financial statetements for three consecutive years, analysis of historical financials, assistance in conversion of statements from IFRS to US GAAP, creation of a sound model for tracking allocated operating expenses, revenue recognition analysis, product development support as well as assistance in write-ups for various sections of SEC requirements. Finally, once the company listed into NASDAQ, I was part of the team that coordinated company’s reporting tools for the whole Velti Groupa as well as imlpementation of SOX compliance process.

I was in Deloitte's Audit and Assurance department for nine years, performing various audit according to Greek GAAP and IFRS requirements.I was responsible for audits in different industries such as BSH home Appliances, Fiat Auto Hellas, Grundfos SA, Solvay Pharma SA, Geo Young & Rubicam SA, Schering Plough SA.Additionally, i particpated in various due dilligence, special audits and Sarbanes Oxleys implementation projects.
