I have done a little bit of everything in my time. I spent 8 years working as a corrections officer for the sheriffs office. I got a first hand look at all walks of life and the human psyche. I transitioned into the maintenance field to learn how to work with my hands. For the last 6 years I have learned out to work in kitchen appliances, basic electrical, plumbing, and hvac work. I am in charge of remodeling apartments and turning units over for new residents. I coordinate with vendors to complete all renovations for apartments. I also take 24 hour emergency call for the complex. I was at work for 23 hours fixing broken pipes during the Texas freeze of 2021, and since have maintained the property through 2 more winters of broken pipes. Since working in this field I have won two awards, one for best make-ready in the company and one for achieving 100% on our companies site check. I also took up motorsports during this time as a hobby to hone my skills of working with my hands. In four seasons of racing I was able to achieve 2 Regional Championships and one 3rd place overall finish. I have since retired from motorsports to spend more time with my wife an daughter as she starts to grow up and wants to try things, I just didn’t want to miss out on anything in her life. Overall I’m a hard worker that is seeking value for my work. I have a positive attitude and do my best not to complain and bring others down around them.
