I believe that design works best with a purpose, and that belief has led to India and I founding Method Recycling from our kitchen table. Method has now designed several international award-winning products, utilised 66 tonnes of recycled materials otherwise destined for landfill (so far) and we’re on the mission to help organisations to divert 1 billion kilograms of waste from landfill by 2030. It all began when India and I continued to see organisations that wanted to recycle without the tools to be successful. With the amount of money businesses pour into design and performance of their offices we knew that a we’ll designed recycling solution was critical - particularly as we face growing environmental concerns. Method has grown bigger and better than we could have imagined in the last 6 years, now operating in New Zealand, Australia and the UK with a passionate team. Though, I’m most proud of the impact we have had at an organisational level for our customers. I’m constantly inspired hearing stories that the simple act of starting a recycling scheme within a workplace has developed into wide ranging sustainability initiatives - the sense of community generated within workplaces in a collective effort to reduce environmental impact.Looking forward, my aspirations for Method is to bring office recycling into the data driven 21st century and provide organisations with the tools for measured success. I’m looking to connect with innovative people and businesses and create a community of change.
