Korny is a Principal Software Engineer. His roles have covered both being a hands-on Staff Engineer, boosting teams to improve how they design and deliver software solutions; as well as a Technical Advisor, helping organisations understand their technical and delivery needs, technical strategy, developer experience (DevEx) and team design.During his career, Korny has worked across a broad range of domains, including financial services, telecommunications, media, healthcare, and the public sector. He has worked on projects ranging in size from a handful of people working on hard techical problems, to large enterprises dealing with multi-year transformation projects. Korny has worked in fully on-premises and fully remote organisations, and is fluent with tools and approaches for remote work and remote collaboration.Korny likes being a generalist, applying polyglot technical skills to use the right tools for the right job. He has worked in all sorts of tech stacks and frameworks - including mainstream languages such as Java, C# and Javascript/Typescript, as well as more specialised languages like Rust, Clojure and Scala.Korny is passionate about using the research-driven approaches to work covered by the Accelerate book and Google's DORA research program, as well as a Team Topologies approach to delivering work through well structured teams.
