- Created the first Bill of Design to be officially released in the Electrical Centre of Competence.- The Bulkhead Bill of Design is a company-wide specification that incorporates EDS (Electrical Distribution Systems) strategy, concepts, standards and lessons learnt for a key problem area (bulkhead zone). Key challenges included working across functions to agree a system solution, gleaning ideas from manufacturing, benchmarking data and component experts.- Developed a new electrical architecture for the roof area (Roof Zone Module), with the aim of optimising the roof wiring and integrating existing ECUs to improve cost, weight and quality. This involved reverse engineering of competitor harnesses, creating system schematics with Visio and using existing circuits to construct business cases.- As the Advanced EDS lead for the D7a platform (Jaguar XE/XF/F-Pace), I managed pre-development contracts with our supplier. Under very limited timescales, I was able to bring together cross-functional teams through workshops whilst liaising with suppliers, to deliver the best possible outcome for the business.
