Design and engineer IT networks carried over various transmission systems such as multi-channel satellite, troposphere scatter systems, Line-Of-Sight (LOS) RF radios, LOS laser radios, and cable systems.Engineer and design router-to-router connections utilizing military and commercial protocols, switch-to-switch trunking, circuit configurations through military and commercial multiplexers, and asynchronous transfer mode (ATM).Plan and design Wide Area Networks (WANs) consisting of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and Military Specification (MILSPEC) components to operate IAW accepted Information Technology (IT) security policies using network planning tools.Utilize a broad knowledge of IT concepts, principles, methods and practice to identify, coordinate, and implement actions required to provide network services that support a requesting agency's requirements. Manage frequency assignment and control of operating frequencies.Provide technical guidance and direction for different aspects of radio frequency spectrum analysis to the warfighter.Determine requirements and request resources from different agencies to support contingency and/or training networks.Represent the organization in conferences or with committees to establish standard methods and operating procedures to accommodate mission requirements.Plan, develop and administer operations plans and applicable annexes by developing short and long range procedures to meet mission requirements.Develop, implement and maintain work center training programs.Responsible for mobilization readiness of section personnel and equipment.This is my Full-Time role within the GA Air National Guard

Provide core services by designing, configuring, installing, and managing data services at the operating system and server application level. Provide directory services utilizing dynamically assigned IP addresses, domain name server, storage area network, and electronic messaging resources. Standardize user privileges and system settings using automated deployment tools such as group policy objects (GPO) system management server. Manage secure authentication methods utilizing public key infrastructure (PKI) technologies and procedures. Develop, test, and implement local restoral and contingency operations plans.Perform system resource management, manages system accounts, performs system-wide backups and data recovery, and load and capacity planning and management.
