My primary responsibilities were to write, edit, and submit corporate, foundation, state, and federal grant applications on behalf of our nonprofit clients. I wrote grants for 25 different clients across multiple sectors, including human services, education, physical/mental/chemical health, youth development, food security, housing, and workforce development, securing over $2.2 million in grant funding. I also researched and created over 10 grants calendars and conducted 50+ high profile wealth screens.

Truly a jack of all trades, my day-to-day differed every time I came into the office. Depending on the needs of clients, I spent my time researching prospects and donors, creating and sending proposals, drafting contracts, performing wealth screens, managing Salesforce, creating the monthly newsletter, or attending to an IT problem. I had my hands on multiple projects at any given time, from grants to campaign work, donor research to invoicing and accounts receivable, social media to administration.

Facilitated and executed product loads, including coordination of product descriptions, size charts, images, color swatches and pricing and assist with pre-production testing to ensure accurate and complete data is launched for all products. Assisted with adding or removing products from web sources. Assisted with the development of creative concepts following G&K brand standards, including idea generation, copywriting, and working with external vendors to compile information. Created graphic design requests for internal graphic designer, or external agency, and coordinated project completion.  Partner with IT organization to manage the development and execution of customer specific web stores. Work with IT organization to design, develop and implement additional website features and enhancements. Customer-Specific Content Management: Work with field representatives, G&K's graphic designer, merchandising team and customers to develop and manage customer-specific materials such as web stores, print catalogs, order forms and flyers. Assist customers and field representatives with on-going questions related to these items. Developed and executed various promotions (via emails, web, coupon, direct mail) to drive product sales, increase order size and gain repeat purchases and analyze results to gain customer insights. Work closely with the GKdirect merchandising team to focus on the most relevant products and pricing. o Produce the design template for the weekly email blasts sent out to customers Work cross-functionally with corporate marketing, IT, customers and field locations Reporting: Compile promotional performance from web, custom web stores, print or internal campaigns as needed. Manage and track monthly spending on eStores. Follow-up with customers that aren’t utilizing their eStore and how we can fix it. Sent out the weekly field update .
