It has a web application which helps its subscribers to view the different health insurance plans given by the company as per US standards and Regulations by the federal government. The Wizard Application allows the subscriber to view, analyze and enroll into the plan of their choice with all the details regarding federal and state tax rates, federal law and the premium amounts. This web application is currently in asp and Visual Basic and our task was to convert the application to ASP.NET. Wizard is one part of their complete web application. Clients have proposed SOA with customized Microsoft UIP Blocks (User Interface Process) and the dynamic controls with configuration engine for the data entry. We have completed this project within the deadline with the quality product and the development and the support during the SIT and UAT phases was much appreciated by the client and the senior management.Roles & ResponsibilitiesRe-engineering of Web application. TCHP is one of the biggest Health Insurance companies in Texas, which was maintaining all its data through legacy systems. The task was to migrate and integrate the existing legacy systems to FACETS application through SQL Server 2005 Integration Services. Many of the packages were integrated through ICAN (a Seebeyond's product) which was again re-developed through SSIS.
