With over 15 years of industry experience under my belt, gained through working for various companies, I made the move to self-employment in September 2021. This new chapter in my career sees me working with many organisations, both operators and suppliers, within the transport industry, who have a need for the knowledge and skills that I have attained to date.Having started in the bus industry as a driver with Stagecoach in 2007, I worked my way through the company to become a scheduler in the East Midlands Area by 2009. In 2011 I was fortunate enough to be seconded to a small team organising transport for the media, athletes and officials at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, before I joined software provider Omnibus in 2013 in a business development roleThroughout the years I have gained a wealth of experience in different operating territories including city networks, rural outstations, and seasonal tourist towns, here in the UK, across Europe, the Middle East and Australasia. I continue to provide valuable scheduling expertise for large tendering projects in both Bus and Light Rail, and for smaller projects where only a short-term need exists. I have also used my years of experience to develop an in depth training course for public transport schedulers, which aims to provide all attendees with the basic knowledge required to carry out their roll to their fullest potential.
