During my time with QinetiQ, I've held a number of cross-functional roles and responsibilities (Engineering Lead, Bid & Project Manager, BD & Account Manager, including Regional Director (south EU)), handling over a healthy number of multi-million pound programs. I worked with clients in government organisations, including defence departments, intelligence services and security agencies in addition to commercial and industrial customers around the world.During my late years with QinetiQ, I was responsible for development and execution part of international business strategy, focused on supporting customers to solve important and complex problems. We used a vast range of products and services in a variety of technologies with civil and military applications (engineering tools for commercial ships, warships and submarines design, Security Screening products, Surveilance and Tracking applications, Renewables, Portable Power et al to name a few), using a variety of business models (managed services, technology supply, R&D, consulting).My responsibilities included but not limited to:- Develop new business & achieve International Funnel Growth.- Manage P&L for my regions.- Develop Global Capabilities/Strategic Propositions and take them to markets. - Manage Agents, Advisers, Re-sellers & Consultants accross EU.- Develop & maintain regional strategies & strategic relationships. - Dealing with offset packages and in country industrial participation requirements.- Develop Business cases, as required, to support the establishment of offices and/or Joint Ventures within EU in line with regional strategy.
