I am the West Virginia Women Work Training Coordinator and a West Virginia native. For the last decade, I’ve held positions in office administration and project management. After years spent climbing the corporate ladder, I humbly accepted an opportunity to maximize the knowledge & networks I'd obtained to enrich the communities in which I live and work.West Virginia Women Work, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was founded in 2000 as a resource to advocate for women's issues related to nontraditional employment, economic self-sufficiency and poverty. Our organization strives to help women in West Virginia earn a living wage. Our primary focus is to empower women to explore and secure employment in nontraditional occupations, with emphasis on skilled trades.With a craving for challenges and fiery ambition, my personal mission mirrored that of WVWW to embrace, educate and encourage women of all backgrounds to break away from patriarchal stigmas & obstacles to explore accessible, rewarding career opportunities in non-traditional roles. Alongside supporting the women in our communities, I love to supplement my time with community service & higher learning.
