Oversee day to day operation off the Spring Valley Teen Center

In this position, I have also created promotional marketing materials including posters, banners that promote each of our campgrounds and revenue generating facilities, pop up displays, and tabletop displays. I create posters and flyers to get referrals to SDG&E energy saving programs. I prepare and exhibit publication materials for both the County Parks and SDG&E. I am responsible for developing promotional materials and outreach for the Spring Valley and Lakeside Teen Centers' outdoor Adventure Program. Community building Served as an ambassador for the Department of Parks and Recreation at events such as ribbon cuttings, groundbreakings, outreach events, partnership events and other promotional opportunities Strategic thinking Responsible for program reporting, such as progress and final reports, ensure completion of program objectives and make changes in scope of work as appropriate Facilitation Program development, evaluation of programs and grant writing for alternate funding-Seek out promotional opportunities and partnership opportunities -Liaison between the Department of Parks and Recreation and San Diego Gas and Electric -Track and report outreach and promotional data for San Diego Gas and Electric and the Department of Parks and Recreation - Recruit and interview candidates for seasonal/part time employment for Energy Saving Adventures Program - Make decisions that are aligned with vision, mission, and goals and values of the County Parks - Knowledge of the values and trends in the 'experience industry'; understanding the differences between products, services, and experiences - Use relationships and partnerships to accomplish goals - ability to define and communicate organizational objectives and goals to stakeholders - Network with related organizations
