CurrentResponsible for all aspects of the acquisition and scheduling of content on all MPT channels and platforms. Supervise staff in the following areas: Traffic, Research, National Productions, Distribution and Marketing, Program Scheduling and Program Acquisition. Analyze performance of content both linear and digital utilizing a broad spectrum of research tools and sources to identify key metrics, trends and insights. Implement programming strategies.Initiate and maintain relationships with external producers, distributors and program providers especially within the documentary and public broadcasting arena. Brainstorm and execute key initiatives, engagement opportunities, scheduling tactics for show launches and sustaining support. Assist documentary filmmakers in the stages of preparation of their films for public television broadcast. Represent MPT at national conferences, workshops, panels. Board member of PTPA. Member of PBS's Programming Advisory Group. Inaugural participant in Public Media's "Emerging Leaders" program. Participant in ITVS Open Call and POV's Edcomm evaluation committee for national strands Independent Lens and POV. Mentoring through Women in Film and Video.
