-Simulated flow models using MODFLOW and calibrated them using PEST-Tracked particles from various pump and treat remedial layout in a feasibility study, combining use of ArcGIS for particle tracks inputs -Utilized least square fitting and other trend fitting packages in Python to predict concentrations based on existing data-Designed pump and piping for a Superfund site so effluent discharge can be safely reinjected into the aquifers instead of discharging to a local treatment plant, saving costs for the client.-Estimated electron donors and amendments volumes and prepared cost estimates for bioremediation. -Wrote a variety of deliverable types including design report, annual sampling report, and proposal-Utilized Python in repetitive data processing workflow and analysis

-Conducted research in Dr. Ron Falta’s research group. -Performed quantitative evaluations and created conceptual site models of highly heterogenous and fractured media with large matrix volume using REMChlor-MD.-Presented comparisons of fine-grid, analytical, semi-analytical, and dual-porosity matrix diffusion models in peer-reviewed journal articles.-Applied and programmed analytical transport solutions, including those with triple infinite series, to capture matrix diffusion in cases of 2D and 3D parallel fractures and heterogeneous granular media.-Generated 2D and 3D random discrete fractures networks, flow and transport models in HydroGeoSphere that matched field observations at the Santa Susana Field Lab.-Created dual-porosity flow/transport models in granular and fractured aquifers using MODFLOW and MT3DMS.-Performed post-processing of modeling outputs using MATLAB to plot concentration profiles, to compute mass discharge via numerical integrations and to calculate contaminant mass stored in fractures/matrix.-Optimized visualizations of the contaminant plume in 3D views and 2D concentration contours using Python scripts and Tecplot 360.

• Prepared proposals and annual project budgets. • Interacted with clients on-site, conducted safety meetings, and task managed junior staff in completing field activities according to safety standards, budget, and engineering specifications.• Authored and assisted in writing Phase I/II/III technical reports according to state of NJ technical requirements.• Connected project teams with state agencies in the design of sampling plans to delineate areas of concern in groundwater and soil media.•Conducted and oversaw field operations such as soil sampling, soil core logging, and groundwater sampling.•Utilized data to delineate highly contaminated zones, planned for excavation to remove the contaminating source, and oversaw subcontractors’ construction activities.•Assisted the design/implementation of enhanced petroleum products volatilization via air sparge and multi-phase extraction systems. •Performed enhanced aerobic oxidation of petroleum products via injections of calcium peroxide and anaerobic oxidation via injections of sulfate. •Performed enhanced dechlorination of trichloroethylene via molasses injections and managed on-site construction, operation, and performance monitoring of the injection system.•Communicated on-site performance of injection events to technical experts, tracking field performance and proposing field adjustments to the design as needed.
