Specific responsibilities include:Development and maintainance of relationships with 3rd party advisors and consultants active in the M&A arena. This includes relationships with investment bankers, private equity managers, management consultants and other strategic advisors. Lead an integrated M&A function that embraces partnerships with key internal constituents comprised of senior executives, the Board of Directors, business unit leaders, corporate financial management (accounting, treasury, risk, tax) , and other corporate staff (legal, human resources, technology, etc.).Responsible for initial gating analysis (go/no-go decision guidance for senior management) of M&A opportunities.Detailed financial analysis which includes creation of operating and valuation models that support the decision process related to strategic initiatives such as M&A, partnerships and joint ventures.
