Kamran Khan is a senior-level in-house counsel with extensive business counseling and litigation management experience who was previously a partner in an Am Law 150 firm.He has advanced to key leadership roles in the Law Department at Altria, an NYSE-listed company with more than $25B in annual revenue. As a key member of the senior leadership team for NuMark, Kamran navigated the rapidly evolving product category of innovative tobacco products and enabled NuMark to launch more than 100 new products in a legally compliant manner. He also advised on a successful FDA submission process and negotiated a settlement that ended a patent infringement lawsuit.Previously, he managed a litigation portfolio for Altria that included products liability, commercial, trademark, intellectual property, insurance, and regulatory matters. Prior to going in-house in 2007, he rapidly advanced from Associate to a sought-after Partner role at Shook, Hardy & Bacon, a premier litigation firm with approximately 500 attorneys. While at the firm, he gained extensive experience in its U.S. Litigation, International, and Regulatory practices, with a focus on complex tort litigation for Fortune 500 firms.
