Art Production Manager
CurrentThe Art Production Manager leads TRD’s team of Art Production Coordinators, ensuring that the day-to-day needs of web art and design are met.Responsibilities:-Manage the Art Production team on the day-to-day; ensure that work is fairly distributed-Create art and schedule stories-Ensure that visual and editorial best practices are met among team members — art producers, editors and reporters included -Communicate to the editorial team any updates to the CMS or art/web best practices; document CMS guides and best practices and update accordingly-Ensure that new editors and reporters are trained on how to use the CMS-Coordinate with the Design Director on art and layout for any big web-first features coming down the pike-Communicate to the Design Director any desired design/art tutorials; help ensure that any art expectations set by the Design Director are met by team members-Make recommendations to the Executive Editor on any improvements that need to be made regarding workflow, SEO, etc.-Make recommendations for CMS improvements to the web development team; troubleshoot any glitches-Communicate to the Social Media Manager on delivering art to be shared on all social media platforms
