Technical and commercial management of all remediation contracts undertaken by the company.

Contracts Manager for KDC with experience of UK wide site investigation, remediation, decommissioning and demolition, ground and civil engineering contracts with a value range of £5k to £8M. At KDC, Kris is responsible for the delivery of remediation contracts in respect to programme, health and safety, budget and quality of works. He also assists with the completion of tender submissions, including the production of conceptual site models, calculation of treatment volumes, treatment design, waste classification, preparing method statements, obtaining sub-contractor costs and rates for works and assisting in the completion of final remediation costing. Responsibilities include:• Developing and implementing all SHEQ management requirements ensuring that all relevant statutory, company and client requirements and obligations are addressed.• Managing the project in accordance with the contract, and reporting progress against the three key areas of cost, program and quality, to both the client and the management.• Formally communicating with the client and acting as the link between stakeholders.• Change management – ensuring the project has contractual cover before scope, budget, programme or quality is varied. • Risk management – acceptance of the risk register and continued management.• Ensuring that site, project personnel and subcontractors are adequately trained in relevant SHEQ matters and meet contractual obligations.• Support early supplier involvement activities.• Development and production of all project documentation, including RAMS.

Overseeing the management of a range of in situ and ex situ remediation and brownfield enabling contracts.Key responsibilities include: - Client liaison.- Bid and tender preparation & financial management.- Contract management (NEC and JCT)- Directing site managers and site staff.- Project delivery and environmental health and safety.

Responsible for the contract and commercial management (under NEC3, JCT) working in commercial, industrial, residential and rail sectors in the UK and Overseas.Works included:• Estimating and tender administration and management including negotiations with Clients.• Works management and resourcing.• Materials and Sub Contractor procurement.• Sub Contract preparation and management.• Early warning and compensation event production.• Site measure and application for payment.• Cost analysis, reporting and forecasting.• Attendance at progress and financial meetings, in house and external.• Contract resolution and dispute management.• Production and management of Construction Phase Plan, RAMS and associated H&S processes.• Implemented quality management procedure and paperwork to civil sector.• Assisted in audits for quality and environment (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001)

To date Kris has been exclusively involved in assisting the Landfill Team with the design and CQA supervision for landfill works, capping systems and leachate/gas collection works at sites throughout the UK. Produced landfill construction method statements and validation reports for submission to the Environment Agency and Scottish Environment Protection Agency as well as material suitability and slope stability reports.Experienced in landfill cell construction and capping works carried out in accordance with the ICE Conditions of Contract 7th Edition, NEC3 Contracts and the Specification for Highways works. Involved in the production and administration of the contracts.Construction Quality Assurance supervision of the landfill cell construction, capping and gas collection works in accordance with the relevant method statements.Involved in the preparation of health and safety risk assessments prior to the commencement of the works. Holds a full awareness and understanding of all health and safety aspects during construction works, in accordance with Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2007.
