With over 11 years of experience in cybersecurity and cyber defense, I am currently serving as an Executive Officer at the United States Marine Corps, where I oversee administrative, logistics, and technical operations for an 1,100-person organization that delivers world-class global cyber services. I am also pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, enhancing my skills in strategic management, leadership, and innovation.As an Executive Officer, I have improved the effectiveness and proficiency of 14 director-level officers, driven 62 cross-organizational programs for governance, risk controls, and compliance, implemented risk controls in both physical and cyber domains, and improved organizational culture and ethical practices. Previously, I directed and managed teams of up to 70 people in the execution of cyber incident response and threat hunting initiatives, formulated innovative policies and procedures for cyberspace operations, and served as a primary liaison and point of contact for senior leadership and external stakeholders. Throughout my career, I have utilized vulnerability data and cyber threat intelligence to plan and coordinate missions, communicated risk to non-technical audiences, and managed budgets and resources efficiently. My mission is to protect and defend the nation's critical assets from cyber threats, and to enable and empower the people and organizations that I work with.
