During this role, I designed and oversaw health insurance programs for personnel of a national call center. I served as an insurance and MS subject matter expert to advise leadership. The core of my responsibilities consisted of advocating for high-level insurance problems with drug lists, prior authorizations, and step therapy. I trained staff on new policies, program changes, and government procedures to ensure quality customer service. I coordinated between different insurance entities, including Medicare, Medicare.gov, Medicaid, private insurance, Department of Defense, CHIP+, Tricare, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
